Welcome to my website, to my story and to what I hope will be our conversation. I've been a counselor, a coach, an educator and an entrepreneur and what I've come to know is that a healthy, loving community—even one that has its roots on-line—can sustain individuals and support them on their various and wonderful journeys.

At NadineThompson.com, I'm really trying to do two things: tell my own story (for me and so that you can know who I am and discover what we might have in common and which of my projects might interest you) and begin to create our on-line community. I hope that everyone who wants to participate and communicate will. We also have a terrific blog, I invite you to join in and let your voice be heard.

Please feel free to sign up for my e-mail list, to post your comments, to check out two of my links The Thompson Foundation for Africa (about me and my husband's work in Africa) and SoulPurpose.com.

The Thompson Foundation is self-explanatory, I think—it's about a small group of people trying to make life better in a continent that needs all the help and kindness we can spare.

Soul Purpose is my new company, my new entrepreneurial adventure; Soul Purpose brings the whole world of body and beauty, spirit and style, to our customers and to our consultants and we hope to bring everyone involved in Soul Purpose in touch with a bigger, more beautiful world, outside and in.

Come on in!
With much love,

Nadine

Terri’s book is an extremely insightful and a powerful commentary about depression in the African American community. Terri is featured in this month’s issue of Essence magazine as well Ebony and many others. I encourage you to pick up at least 2 copies of the book, one for you and one to share with a friend or family member who may benefit from reading it. Click here to read the interviews.
